The Unlucky Moonstruck

You shouldn't tie your fortunes to the moon
unless you don't mind turning into nothing
every month, and slowly back to something.
It is hard on the nerves,
although it can
afford a wide perspective on existence.
If you emulate the moon you may not
have your feet on the ground. The defeat
of those who're neither here nor there is guaranteed,
and why be so enamored of a
no-man's land. It's more remote than god
and there's no women. Do you sleep alone
if you're distracted by the galactic. An
eternal witness,
one who is renaming
at a distance and remaining silent.
