Pre-Emptive Science Fiction

Did the current administration
see “Minority Report,”
about predicting crime before it
happens. Now they want to do
pre-emptive strikes in other countries.
In the basement of the Pentagon,
below the War Room, there’s a
think tank: several pre-cogs are
suspended in a watery
solution and it glows in the dark.
They are hooked up with electrodes,
their nightmares are recorded as the
missing chord, the final word.

One of them is Cheney, that
explains his disappearances
from public view. He’s floating in a
paranormal hot tub and he’s
hooked up to a hot-line, the
unconscious bureaucrat projecting
on the world a heart attack.
